Tue, 24 February 2009 Alden and the NBM are back from their week off. A special thanks to Damien and John for filling in for them last week. We catch up on what they did during their down-time and get a promised live update from Marti Gras from our friend Robert Watkins. An attempted game goes awry and we implement our cost-saving measures for our international listener(s). We are taking calls for our upcoming "Hag Libs" segment until March 31st. Call in and give us a noun, verb, adverb, and adjective (or multiples if you would like). voiceline: (206) 203-1605 e-mail: danieljbrewer@gmail.com http://dubiousintent.com Comments[0] |
Sun, 15 February 2009 Anne and Alden deserted me this week so my bestest friends from Florida stepped up and filled in for them. Damien and John join me as we go through most of our voice mail and discover just how distracting it is to read the chat room during the show. A lot of jokes were made about Damien and John being boring (by me) - but I do appreciate them stepping way outside of their comfort zones and tackling doing a live show with almost no notice. voiceline: (206) 203-1605 e-mail: danieljbrewer@gmail.com http://dubiousintent.com Comments[0] |
Mon, 9 February 2009 Our second attempt at live streaming a show does not go as smoothly as our first (I blame the Producer), but we manage to muddle through it. Finding our voice mail box empty, we rely on good old-fashioned guilt to get people to call our live chat-line. Well, guilt and a threat to play another round of the game that Anne brought to the show. As is typical for us, the conversations are all over the map and only make sense to the deeply disturbed. voiceline: (206) 203-1605 e-mail: danieljbrewer@gmail.com http://dubiousintent.com Comments[0] |
Sun, 1 February 2009 Wow! Look! It's a crapload of shiny technological toys to play with for this episode. We somehow managed to stream our recording live while chatting and taking phone calls from folks without causing any sort of implosion - and as far as I know, the space/time continuum is still intact. We talk about Ted Haggard, He-Man, burning houses, and homemade hamburger meat. Despite the fact that those things have no relationship to one another - it is still a show. Join us next Sunday February 8th at 4pm EST for our next live recording. Of course, if you are brave you can check out the preshow that starts at 3pm EST. Details can be found on our website. voiceline: (206) 203-1605 e-mail: danieljbrewer@gmail.com http://dubiousintent.com Comments[0] |
