It is the long-awaited and soon-forgotten solo show as I open the microphone and pollute the interwebz with verbal diarrhea. For the love of everything that is good, please call my voice mail number and bail me out of this. voiceline: (206) 203-1605 e-mail: danieljbrewer@gmail.com

It's the final regularly scheduled live-streaming episode of Dubious Intent. As we fold up shoppe and prepare to transition into a new format, Alden joins me to listen to the throngs of well-wishers and talk about food. Anne joins us in spirit only, and at least one international internet celebrity chit-a-chats with Alden. voiceline: (206) 203-1605 e-mail: danieljbrewer@gmail.com

I loaded up the car with way too much equipment and hoisted it all the way to Charleston to do the first "on-the-road" live Dubious Intent Show.

The show was recorded at the sprawling Vader Family Compound in North Charleston. Big Fatty, Larry H Vader, and Lurry Dean joined me for an afternoon of thunderstorms, alcohol, and general audio ruination.

A last minute change in recording software is to blame for the slightly distorted sound during some parts of this show, but how can you NOT listen?

It is a full boat this week as Anne, Alden and Trish (aka Trish) join me for an hour of fun. We find out that the Naughty Bed Monkey isn't as naughty as she once was (at least not legally) and we prepare ourselves for the road trip next weekend.

Not only did Big Fatty call into our live call-in line, but one of his biggest fans did too. We tried our best to help her create some podcast magic for the fat one, but did not fare too well.

I swear, it is like someone came in and sucked all of the energy out of the room during this show. I am joined by Anne, Alden and Trish (aka Trish) for this hour-long journey into teh netherwebs. We also seek expert medical advice from a very special guest.

A technical problem caused Alden to lose his internet connection, but being a true showman he continued bravely on the telephone. Join us if you dare.

It's not just ruined, it's ... well it is what it is. It was Father's day and I popped into the chat room to let people know that I would not be recording a show and ... well I kind of recorded a show any way.

Joining me in the fun today are: Auntie Vera Charles, Steven from Wisconsin, and International Internet Celebrity Big Fatty. That might sound like something that would be interesting to listen to, but WAIT there's more! The ever elusive Gooch joined us and nattered on with us for while.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll run for your insulin.

I have referred to many of our previous shows as trainwrecks, I would now like to officially take it back. This show is perhaps the best sounding example of what a TRUE trainwreck sounds like.

Our friend Skye fills in for Alden as we: explain to Anne how to get into the chat room, accidentally record a 10 minute voice mail on someone's phone, hang up on the switchboard, and pretty much forget everything we have ever learned about recording a podcast.

It's live podcasting at it's scariest as we careen off of the tracks and head towards a kindergarten class full of special needs children.

Our first show of our second year is exactly what you would expect - mass confusion. We start the show off 10 minutes late due to Anne's dating life and it pretty much goes down hill from there.

We talk about Wolverine, Anne's busty busters, Alden's school and unveil a new theme song for Kari. Voice mails are played, e-mails are read, and two (count them, two!) callers come in on the live call-in number.

We will not be streaming live on Sunday May 31st due to two of us being out of town.

It sounded like a good plan, it even looked good on paper. Pull together our normal crew, sprinkle in tons of anniversary well-wishers and have a wonderful show. Unfortunately, every possible technical distraction that could happen - did.

After a boatload of editing I invite you to take a listen to our one year anniversary show. I would also like to thank everyone who called in, joined us in our chat room, and e-mailed us to wish us well. I have often said that I would probably do this show if no one listened, but knowing that there are so many wonderful people out there just makes it awesome.

We are fairly sure that the Naughty Bed Monkey has come down with a nasty case of the swine flu this week - which is the only possible explanation for her absence. Alden and I soldier on however and attempt to make the best of the situation.

We catch up on our voice mails that we have neglected for the past two weeks and take a few live callers along the way. Keep your ears peeled and you might just here an internet celebrity or three.

Next week is our Anniversary show and we have exactly ONE phone call congratulation. Seriously? One?

Dear Gussie! Good gosh, and other southern colloquialisms - International Internet Celebrity stopped by the cavernous DI studio and recorded with us this week. Anne returns from her hiatus and fills us in on where she has been, Alden comes up with a game, toss in a phone caller on the live call-in line and you have yourself the makings of a genuine Big Fatty trainwreck.

My apologies for the e-mails and voicemails that we did not get to this week. Things just kind of got out of hand.

...and with this episode we draw the curtain on our 20-minute experiments. Adam and Matty rejoin Alden and I for our Friday show. Do I really need to tell you that Anne didn't show up again? We talk with Stacy from the Female Lesbian Show, and try to put a tidy bow on the week.

I've learned a lot from this experiment. Some things will definitely be changing on the show in the near future. Join us Sunday at 4pm EST as we return to our old format - streaming live and taking your calls.

It is the Thursday show in what is becoming a highly tedious week of 20 minute shows. The Naughty Bed Monkey calls in, once again, to let us know why she is not with us and we are joined by a very special Internet celebrity (dare we say of the International variety?).

It's a hootenanny for the whole family (provided that they are old enough to enjoy porn jokes). Trust me when I tell you, the intentions of this show are completely dubious.

It's Wednesday ... I think, it is very confusing recording for specific days. Regardless: Alden, Adam, and Matty rejoin me for an evening of 20 minute podcasting fun. The Naughty Bed Monkey is once again missing - I'm starting to detect a pattern with her.

We are joined on our live call-in line by Jane from Boston and a discussion about Lesbian podcasting ensues. It is definitely not something to miss. Of course if you do, it was only 20 minutes.

After receiving a severe twitterlashing from Archer and Arthur about our shows running slightly longer than an hour, we have decided to record 20 minute shows all week long. Yes, we realize that this adds up to an hour and 40 minutes total, but who are we to deny the Podfather and folks from the future?

Adam and Matty step in to fill in for the Naughty Bed Monkey tonight and we do our darnedest to adjust to the extreme confines of a 20 minute show.

Hopefully we will be back tomorrow for another trainwreck.

With my cords stretched to their limits, this is the first show from the new studios - home of the "Potty Palace" where even Archer would be comfortable pooping. A bottle of wine and some Swiss cheese help us break in the new surroundings and make it somewhat of a munchie-cast.

Anne and Alden tell us about their weeks and I bitch and complain about the wine store that is located under my apartment. Along the way we are joined by Lurry Dean, Big Fatty, and Kari on the live call-in number and go through several voice mails from our fabulous listeners.

Well hello everyone, we are graced on this show by the presence of Global Internet celebrity Big Fatty (online!). We chit-a-chat about Sea Hags and theme songs for a bit before turning our attention to Easter and boys in kilts.

Listener voice mail is played, a new theme song emerges while Alden doodles with his new recorder. Of course, any show featuring the Fat One is destined to be a trainwreck and this one certainly heads in that general direction.

Anne returns this week from her short vacation to the beach with a hankerin' for a slushie and a deficit of straws. Alden took the bicycle advice to heart last week and purchased some much needed transportation for his two kids. I, on the other hand, had my bank account frozen and must spend a good portion of the show apologizing for Auntie Vera Charle's comments from last week.

We have a plethora of voice mails this week, and three live callers to chat with. Someone in the chat room described this week's show as "more random than usual" and I would have to agree with that - as we ended up talking about reality television, RuPaul, MobWars, and Twitter.

Anne is off on a trip this week so we are graced with everyone's favorite mythical Auntie in her place. Special thanks to Auntie Vera Charles for playing along with Alden and I this week.

We talk about birthday presents (natch), field days, new show names for "The Female Lesbian Show", and riding bicycles. There is also some talk about Dr. Gene Scott and The Star Hustler thrown in for good measure.

E-mails and voicemails are weeded through and our German fans provide Alden with the punchline for a lame joke.

Did I mention that it is my birthday this week?

It is the pre-pre birthday show. Daniel got an early birthday present from his husband as well as one of the listeners. Anne graduated from making animal noises with her voice to playing sound effects on her iPhone when no one was looking (sneaky little monkey).

Although we successfully made it through the time change, our switchboard did not. We did eventually get connected to it though and chatted with Kari & Wes.

There is an interesting conversation about autism and I almost made it through an entire show without mentioning a certain older podcaster's name. If you did not feel like you lost an hour of your life during the time change, you will most certainly feel like it after this show.

Ever wonder what it sounds like when a "human sound board" lets loose? You will find out when you hear the NBM's collection of animal sounds. Ever wonder what it sounds like when jokes fall completely flat? You will also find that out in this episode.

Alden, Anne and I attempt to play a news-based game only to find out that Alden actually follows the news (which makes fooling him very difficult). We also go through our voice mails for the week and try to clear up the mystery surrounding the Ursine savior (Bear Jesus).

Anne and Alden deserted me this week so my bestest friends from Florida stepped up and filled in for them. Damien and John join me as we go through most of our voice mail and discover just how distracting it is to read the chat room during the show.

A lot of jokes were made about Damien and John being boring (by me) - but I do appreciate them stepping way outside of their comfort zones and tackling doing a live show with almost no notice.

Our second attempt at live streaming a show does not go as smoothly as our first (I blame the Producer), but we manage to muddle through it.

Finding our voice mail box empty, we rely on good old-fashioned guilt to get people to call our live chat-line. Well, guilt and a threat to play another round of the game that Anne brought to the show. As is typical for us, the conversations are all over the map and only make sense to the deeply disturbed.

Wow! Look! It's a crapload of shiny technological toys to play with for this episode. We somehow managed to stream our recording live while chatting and taking phone calls from folks without causing any sort of implosion - and as far as I know, the space/time continuum is still intact.

We talk about Ted Haggard, He-Man, burning houses, and homemade hamburger meat. Despite the fact that those things have no relationship to one another - it is still a show.

Join us next Sunday February 8th at 4pm EST for our next live recording. Of course, if you are brave you can check out the preshow that starts at 3pm EST. Details can be found on our website.

Wow! We took a week off of recording and completely forgot how to do everything. A fun listener game would be to count the number of times that Daniel says "you know" during this show ... if by fun I meant torturous.

We talk about the inauguration and the plight of the purple ticket holders, snow in South Carolina, and how President Obama snubbed all of the Orthodox Quakers by omitting them from his speech.

We are making some changes to the show starting Sunday February 1st. What are they? You'll have to listen to find out.

One of the few times when I actually had something prepared to say, and I am totally derailed by Anne and Alden (thanks guys!). We all took a questionnaire at beliefnet.com to find out just how spiritual we are - the results were slightly surprising, but not earth shaking.

Before we move into phone calls, we manage to mention Auntie Vera Charles several hundred times, and find out about the new diet fad that is sweeping the nation.

We are shamelessly ripping off the Qcast boys by asking people to submit the show ending to us. You can call on the voice line, or send your recording through e-mail. Don't leave me hanging!

We skipped a week recording due to electile dysfunction (aren't I witty?) but we are back this week and despite some annoying pre-show technical issues, we managed to make it through.

We talk about Halloween, the election, Amendment 2 & 8, and I might have gotten a little bit snippy with the folks from California. Alden weighs in with his Silly Japanese story of the week, and I think I might have redeemed the news story of the week for myself.

Daniel is feeling a bit under the weather this week, or he could just be hung over from too much wine at dinner Saturday night. Regardless, there is a strange vibe that leads us to talk about Paula Dean, Sara Palin, Zombies, and Brest Milk  within the fist 20 minutes.

You'll be relieved to know that Alden is responsible for the news story this week - the blogging plant is NOT my fault. We trudge through our e-mails and voicemails for the week and get to hear from two (count them - two) members of Congress.

We dip our toes into the respective pools of death, other people's voice mail, and what might possibly be the last attempt at a news story for the week. We explain our shifting of recording days from Wednesday evenings to Sunday afternoon (hint: it has to do with Anne's dating life).

All of these things are done while under the scrutiny of an in-studio guest from California. Of course we play your voicemails and e-mails for the week and finally put the four-week old joke to bed.

Hey, we have an audience this week! Don't get excited I'm not talking about people who download the show - Alden's boyfriend sat in and monitored us for "quality assurance".

We talk about South Carolina Pride, the North Carolina Obama Rally, and the rebirth of CallBox 7 (available once again on iTunes). We start a possible regular feature by calling another podcast's voicemail line - will they play it? Who knows!

Listen if you dare.

A busy busy show - complete with a busy lesbian. Anne joins Alden and I as we slog our way through the upcoming South Carolina Pride and my trip to Charleston last weekend.

I review Big Fatty's "Biloxi Blues" that Robert and I went to see this past week. We somehow manage to talk about monkeys, orangutans, nipples, and photoshop all within a 3 minute period.

Check it out.

After spending an hour recording a group show on ArcherRadio with the raging egomaniac of podcasting Auntie Vera, it is a miracle that I had the energy to record this show at all.

Alden and Anne try their best to pump up the energy levels on this show - with mixed results. We talk about Rachel Maddow's new show on MSNBC and how I barely escaped death from my hot-air balloon ride.

We end the show with Alden's "Top Ten List of Anime Porno Titles" - it was a compromise because I thought he should sing the list.

The naughty bed monkey returns to the studio for a delightful romp through nonsense and trainwreckage. In an effort to redeem myself from the "Audio Nazi" moniker, this show is being presented in an unedited form. That means you not only get to enjoy three versions of the show's intro, but multiple instances of Alden chewing and crunching ice.

It's episode 11, we are out of excuses for bad content and now just have to learn to fully embrace our suckage.

Our first deca-cast! (for those of you into the metric system). Alden and I tackle stupid school mascot names, aging podcast personalities, and morally bankrupt religious icons - and we do it sans guest host.

I know what you are saying: "Hey, that sounds like a lot to bite off in such a compact little show" - and you are most probably correct. But let's be realistic about it, we really don't have much to say about any of those topics. In fact, you probably got more out of reading this description than the actual show.

As was forecast in episode 1, this is the last show that is allowed to suck. It's all uphill from here!

Alden is back from his vacation and tells us in excruciating detail the specifics of his trip. Anne returns and between bouts of kicking the microphone stand explains to us her scheme to start the next great lesbian dating site.

We go through a couple of e-mails and try and come up with a clever way for people to remember our voice mail number. It's not quite a train wreck, but it isn't our best effort to date - listen if you dare.

While Alden is away on a California trip, I am joined in the studio by my husband Robert and our neighbor Ann. The flow of wine was restricted slightly from last week's recording session - but it was still dangerously close to a full-on trainwreck.

There are a ton of minor audio problems as my mixer did not fare well in the move to South Carolina. We talk about South Carolina's oversea advertising campaign as well as where we would rather live. Newly single Ann puts out a worldwide Lesbian cry for a date - I won't be holding my breath on that though.

Not everything went as smoothly as I wanted it to during the move to South Carolina. I ended up with a strange buzz in my mixer and some technical glitches in Alden's audio from Florida.

With a few of the problems resolved, this episode was created as a replacement for the trainwreck that will never see the light of your iPod. That's not to say that this episode is not a trainwreck in and of itself, but at least the only person that comes out of it looking bad is me - which is how I like it.

Please make sure to check out Alden's project for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago - where you can finally get your hands on some original artwork from him.

Alden and I are joined in studio by a new playmate - Robert Watkins. For some reason there are tons of audio glitches that drove me nuts during the editing. You probably won't hear them, but the background buzz and mystery "breathing" drove me nuts during the editing process. As an audio-nazi, I would normally have tossed this show in the trash; but my buddy Will Radik is trying to teach me how to be less anal (note: this is NOT a reference to Erraticast #35).

E-mails are read, voicemails are listened to and a couple of people "did it" for each other (think "Love Connection" without the love ... or the connection).

I am re-joined in the studio by Alden and Damien for another journey into silliness. We listen and reply to a couple of voice mails and find out via e-mail that I will be coming into a large sum of money in the near future.

Comparisons are made between a certain podcaster and a certain "South Park" character ... and we wish that we hadn't of spent the time on that particular bit. The show ends with my beef with Alden (who is no longer a vegetarian).

This is a re-post of episode 4. There were some encoding problems with the original file.

Show number 4, the perfect follow-up to show number 3 (aka The Pedophile show) now with 100% less World of Warcraft talk! Although, we did keep in the naked boy jokes for consistency. I'm joined in the studio by Alden and Damien. We find out why Alden doesn't do his own podcast and learn the true roots of Archer Radio.

No animals were hurt during the recording of this episode.

Remember how "Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock" was not as good as the previous two films? Well, yeah - this would be that kind of episode. I am re-joined by John and Sean for another journey into disjointedness. Although valiant efforts are made to stay "on topic"; we kind of get lost along the way.

We discuss sex at 41 and at 16. I introduce John and Sean to the most evil lesbian in the world - Kim Beaver. There may or may not be some talk about drinking and math teachers, but honestly after 6 or 7 drinks who remembers? Take a listen ... it's FREE!

My second forray into disjointedness! This time I'm joined by my friends John and Sean. We ramble our way through WOW, BSG, ST-V, GTA, and countless other TLA's (three letter acronyms). Of course, in order to keep it from becoming an outright geekfest we throw in a healthy dose of chatter about teabagging and helping out those who are less fortunate than us aurally. Our sincere apologies to We're mean because you're stupid (sorta).

It's the first show - the one that no one ever listens to! A few technical issues rear their ugly heads (and by technical I mean guests that can't stop hitting the microphone stands) but an episode happens nonetheless.
